Every now and then, we all need to watch something hilarious, have a good laugh and relieve ourselves of stress. If you find yourself agreeing to this and happen to be 18 years old and above, hurrah! – We have just the movie for you!
Can’t quite remember who Sacha Baron Cohen is? Well, he’s the English actor / comedian who was previously of Ali G, Borat and Brüno fame, and this time round back as the ruler of fictitious nation Wadiya, risking his life to ensure that democracy would never come to the country he so lovingly oppressed. (Yes, we love how “wrong” this whole movie is).
On behalf of United International Pictures, 11 omy.sg bloggers attended the sneak preview of the movie, which is rated M-18 for sexual humour and nudity and is currently showing in theatres.
Audiences can expect lots of innuendos, politically-incorrect references to regimes and gender, as well as hilarious jibes at terrorism throughout the 83 minutes, so for those of you on any political or moral high horses, please dismount before entering the theatres (innuendos not intended).
